Using iDVD

After we had produced the final Click Teaser Trailer I then exported the trailer into a mov file so it would play in Quicktime. I then opened iDVD and picked a theme for the menu so when I burnt the trailer onto a disc a user would be able to choose when they want it to play. The theme that I picked was Centre Stage, mainly a black background with a white glow at the bottom. This theme allowed me to include an image in the drop down box on the right hand side, include a button to start playing the trailer and final a title for the menu. The image that I chose to include on the menu was a manipulated image of Kate where she looks slightly distorted. This is the main image that I used in my individual film poster final. Looking through the choose of button in iDVD I final chose a thick, red, slanted frame around the trailer. I think this frame contributes with the horror thriller genre of the whole media promotional package. Using the profile options I include a text box to include the title 'Click'. The font I used was Cracked. This font was very similar to our Click title on the film poster and magazine cover. In our group most of our menu look very similar as we all wanted it to continue the horror thriller genre.
